I'm a huge fan of pre-raphaelite paintings and while this takes its inspiration from 17th century Dutch painters such as Vermeer, it has the same innocence to it. The beautiful waves and porcelain skin are doll-like, while the lace elastic framing the face adds a touch of S&M.
