How to dip hair colour to create a fusion of tones on the ends of longer hairstyles.
Half inch thick sections of hair were divided into quarters, starting from the underneath.
- Each section was backcombed to create a seamless blend of colour.
- A dark glazed brown was applied through the roots and mid lengths and an intense cherry red through the ends and left to process.
- Hair was blow-dried smooth.
- Long layers were dry-cut for a combination of soft textures, which also fuses the colours.
- Hair was blow-dried smooth and shine spray blasted through the hair to define the colour.
