House of ernest present 70s punk House of Ernest Present 70s Punk The House of Ernest artistic team were inspired by the 70s punk scene for their latest collection, Paradise Garage. Each look in the collection is inspired by the dark, rebellious nature of punk with hair styled in contrasting textures, hair cut to reflect the torn effect of clothing and colour with a DIY feel. The looks all feature punk-inspired names. There's the Vivienne - named for the grand dame of punk, Vivienne Westwood - and featuring a raw, matted texture. The Anarchist gives Vidal Sassoon's classic cuts - which were all the rage at the same time as the punk movement was taking off - a raw update. We also love the Rotten – named after the Sex Pistold front man, Johnny Rotten. This cut takes David Bowie's rebellious style but gives it an even fiercer and aggressive nature, fighting conformity with bold clashes of colour. See the shoot in full below!
