Helen mirren, queen of the bobs

Helen Mirren has a busy summer ahead, promoting her new film Love Ranch around the world. With four screenings already under her belt, we've seen four different red carpet looks from the reigning queen of British acting. Helen's elegant bob has been styled with subtle differences each night, proving the versatility of this sophisticated cut. 

Worn volumised with rough, matte texture last night (top left), Helen started the Love Ranch promotion with a sleeker look, dazzling with shine (top right).

Working the red carpet last week, the glamorous actress opted for a smoothly rounded blow dry, adding plenty of body all over and styling her choppy fringe to one side.

At a previous screening, Helen sported her mid-length in a straight, classic style. The peek-a-boo fringe gives the bob a youthful feel and adds a defiantly cheeky twist to her look.

Dannii Minogue might have proved that bobs are about as versatile as it gets, but Helen is doing a pretty good job of proving that more mature clients can style their mid-length in a multitude of ways too!
