Experiencing leeds with l'oreal

Just on the train back from Leeds where I have been to visit the new Cuttting Room Creative salon and L'Oreal academy.
I have to say, it was all very impressive! From the entrance - a beautifully presented retail area that entices customers off the street - up through the colour area upstairs to the Shu Uemura rituals treatment room, it seemed that every tiny detail had been considered.
In addition to all the services you would expect, the very lovely Karen Dodds is also providing a style lounge service for clients.
In a two hour consulatation, she analyses eveything from skin tone, to body shape and personality type to help clients to understand what best suits them.
The service is rapidly growing in popularity and provides a new clientele who quickly gain trust in the salon's services.
Sadly, I didn't get to experience the full service but I did learn that I'm not quite the pear shape I'd always thought I was and some of the other journalists have left with fabric swatches of the perfect colours for them.
And to make the most of the beautiful boudoir style room, it is also used for bridal parties and the My New Hair service.
Top marks all round!
