1. A large rectangular panel was created from the front hairline, ending at a point at the nape. It was sub-divided for control.2. A guide was created for the top of the panel by holding hair straight up and cutting it parallel to the floor. Subsequent sections were over-directed up to each previously cut section.3. Starting at the crown, a guide was taken from the top panel into the back. Hair was held straight out from the head, gradually shortening as the nape was reached. Subsequent sections were over-directed up to the previously cut sections.

4. The completed back panel5. A new guide was created disconnected from the top panel, following the curve of the head and held out.6. All remaining hair was elevated in the side panel, away from the ear towards the guide. Hair was cut completing the side panel and repeated on the other side of the head. The hair was blow-dried.

7. A fringe was point-cut to suit the face.8. The contour was refined and the weight in the perimeter was customised.9. Hair was point-cut and sliced through to add texture and depth.

5. Groups of five back-to-back slices were placed, alternating formula B and formula A. This began at the right rear, continuing forward diagonally. 6. This was continued working at opposing angles on the top panel, moving towards the crown.7. Start a new group at an angle that opposes the adjacent foil group.
