The Business of Fashion has named six hairdressers in its Business of Fashion 500; the ultimate index of the people
shaping the global creative industries.
Each year, the digital style authority names 500 individuals who have made a significant contribution to the world of fashion. Entrants are nominated by both Business of Fashion editors and industry insiders across the globe. From a list of more than 2,000, 500 are then selected through a rigorous research and analysis process.
Making the grade are fashion designers, publishers, models, bloggers and photographers from across the globe, with influencers including Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Cara Delevingne and Bruce Weber all included.
This year, six hairdressers join the power players;
Anthony Turner,
Eugene Souleiman,
Guido Palau,
Malcolm Edwards,
Odile Gilbert and
Sam McKnight. Anthony, Eugene, Guido, Malcolm and Sam are all Brit-born and trained, while French-born Odile has honed her skills in Paris and New York.
All six are renowned for their work in session hairdressing, creating inspiring looks for glossy magazines, catwalk shows and celebrities.
