Hair trends at the baftas 2013: straight

Straight hair continues to be a bubbling trend for Spring/Summer 2013 with directional red carpet attendees picking up on the look early. At the 2013 BAFTAs, Jennifer Lawrence and Sarah Jessica Parker both rocked straight hair - but did they pull it off?
We asked HJ's London Hairdresser of the year, Tina Farey of RUSH Hair, for her verdict.
"I like this look on Jennifer. She has stayed away from the typical red carpet look and kept it fresh. I would have liked to have seen more height with more structure but overall she carries this off well."
"Sarah Jessica Parker has to be careful when wearing her hair so straight. She has long features and sleek hair enhances these. Her hair looks good here but I prefer her with curls and for the BAFTA's I would have gone for full, smooth curl to add width to her face."
