Deconstructed blow-dries, luscious layering and creative crimping were all used to deliver tantalising texture on the Autumn/Winter catwalks.
Complementing the sexy utility wear of Woolrich John Rich & Bros were long, textured tresses deliberately left unfinished; contrasting texture prevailed on the catwalks of Charles Anastase, with heavily backcombed lengths, juxtaposed with smooth hair at the crown; while the lingerie collection from Triumph was temptingly matched with big, blow-dried hair with a sultry, messy finish.
Undone and sexy or structured and sophisticated, waves worked their magic for an array of design talent.
Centre-parted long hair was tonged into vintage glamorous looks for the Roksanda Ilincic show; while the deliberately dishevelled fashion of Ashish was complemented with natural-looking texture and waves with an unfussy finish.
The classic simplicity of Jasper Conran's collection was set off by hair with natural movement, creating effortless elegance.

James Rowe created a grunge-inspired look with dark roots.
1. Blow-dry tecni art Pli through the centre parting so that hair sits flat to the head.
2. Apply dark-coloured pigment spray through the roots.
3. Clip in lighter hair pieces underneath to make the roots more obvious.
4. Add plenty of tecni art Liss Control through the ends for a heavy, oily feel.
5. Split hair into three or four plaits, and clamp with hot irons. Remove plaits so that hair has a lived-in feel.

Tim Furssedon created a dual-texture look - fashion forward meets American heritage.
1. Prep hair with label.m Volume Mousse and blow-dry smooth.
2. Take a middle parting and use label.m Deep Waves from mid-lengths to ends - keeping the top smooth.
3. Go over the root area with a wax stick to create smooth and sleek texture.
4. Comb through the mid-lengths to ends with style dust to enhance a drier texture.

2. Part hair in the middle, and use Catwalk
Your Highness Root Boost to create volume
at the crown.
3. Spritz hair with dry shampoo, focusing on the ends to add additional texture.
