Tis the season to be jolly and the countdown to party season is on. With clients planning outfits for the festive period, it’s up to you to help them finish their looks with some great hair brush advice to achieve that salon-perfect look at home.
How many times have you heard your client’s cry, "I can never blow-dry my the hair the way that you do". By nature hairdressers recommend the right products, but do you recommend the right brushes too?
Aitch and Aitch London love the new Unite range of brushes - here they share their advice to help clients achieve the look they love at home.
"Sometimes one is just never enough," they explain. "Using more than one brush at a time allows us to manipulate hair in different ways. How many brushes do you take back to your section when you are blow-drying. More than one? To achieve the same effect at home, the client would benefit from using more than one brush too. It's time to educate your clients on how they can improvise with their brushes to obtain maximum effect."

The Boar Bristle Paddle Brush (RRP £24.95) is fantastic for controlling and detangling thick hair. Ease to use it helps you achieve smooth and sleek hair.

Use the 53 mm Round brush (RRP £15.25) to achieve lots of big soft volume. It also enhances root lift. The rubber-bobbled handle is good for easy grip too, allowing for maximum pull.

The 43 mm Round brush (RRP £14.25) is amazing for creating a big, bouncy blow-dry on long hair. It's ideal for creating soft curls with plenty of volume at the root.

The very versatile 33mm Round Brush (RRP ££13.25) allows for a stronger, bouncy blow-dry as it can achieve tighter curls. It also curls toward the end of the hair. As with all the Unite brushes, the metal barrel conducts the heat, acting in a similar way to heated rollers.
This brush is great for adding direction, perfect for adding great flick ups. Try this on mid length hair for a preppy look.
Fantastic for short bobs, gives a perfect round volume finish. Very Mary Quant and Dawn O Porter!

The smallest of the range, the 25mm Round brush (RRP £12.25) is great for shorter cuts. It will help you add volume and bring out the texture of the haircut. We would use these on shorter styles - just like Helen Mirren and Judi Dench have.
