Forde hair win at hairclublive open chair night

Trainee hairdressers Daniel Chapman and Chanel Wilson of Forde Hair, Brighton, won Star Performers at the inaugural HairClubLive Open Chair Night in London. Hosted in The Star of Kimgs pub, the evening celebrated emerging, progressive hairdressing talent and was supported by some of the biggest names in the hair industry including Adam Reed, Tim Hartley, Desmond Murray and Jack Howard. Hairdressers showcased their work on stage in ten minute slots, with total free reign to show off their creativity in any way they Daniel and Chanel - who were the youngest hairdressers on stage - wowed with finger waves and textured looks. "It was absolutely incredible to be on stage showcasing our work in front of hundreds of people! The atmosphere was amazing and the support from the crowd really helped," said Daniel.
