Habb honours the industry's most caring at the habb ball
The annual HABB fundraising ball had a fresh and inspiring format this year to celebrate some of the industry's most caring and sharing individuals.
Hosted by HABB's joint presidents Gaynor Hodge and HJ's publisher/editor-in-chief Jayne Lewis-Orr, the event was reinvented as the HABB Honours Ball and featured four awards: The Outstanding Courage Award; The Compassionate Caring Award; The President's Award and The Outstanding Achievement Award.
"This year has to be one of the toughest for fundraising so we felt the job required double the effort." Jayne said. "As I look around the room I see before me some of the most successful and influential people in the industry who are caring enough and generous enough to be here tonight. We thank you on behalf of our beneficiaries as your support is absolutely invaluable."
While the aim of the evening was to raise awareness for the charity and encourage guests to participate in fundraising activities in the year ahead, the most poignant part of the evening was the awards.
