Habb and the fellowship unite for a memorable president's night
The great and the good of the British hairdressing industry gathered at Fulham's Hurlingham Club for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing President's Night.
Hosted by Fellowship President Mark Creed, the soiree was a welcome opportunity to unwind and catch up with old industry friends and business contacts.

"We're a very hard working profession and occasionally we need to take some time out to relax, network and have a drink!" Mark explained as he welcomed guests to the exclusive members' club.
The evening was a timely opportunity to present the newly-appointed Fellowship for British Hairdressing chairman, David Drew, who only took on the post one week ago.
"It is with a great sense of pride that I take this role and I look forward to a fruitful and successful continuation of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing," said David.
And was also an occasion to reflect on the successes of the last 12 months and Mark proudly told guests: "Our organisation is in great shape and continues to go from strength to strength.
"This has been a year of evolution that has seen a change to our strap-line. It may only be a tweak but 'Creative Excellence' really is what the Fellowship is all about.
"Our organisation is a union of like-minded people and we will continue to make sure our profession is always displayed in the right light."
After fun-filled entertainment from The Three Waiters, the evening transformed into a platform to promote HABB, the industry's charity. A raffle raised £2,500 for the worthy cause while an insightful video really hit home the good work that the benevolent does for those in need.
HABB President Naomi Scroggins said: "HABB has been supporting people in the industry for 159 years. Each year we give the people who need it most a bursary of £520 per year, but one of our goals for this year is to increase that grant in line with the cost of living."
The evening climaxed with the presentation of the HABB Awards. The President's Award for consistent fundraising was given to Belfast salon owner Sharon Malcolm.
While Trevor Sorbie was awarded the HABB Humanitarian Award for his amazing efforts with My New Hair. In a moving speech, Trevor told the audience: "I'm in the last chapter of my hairdressing career, but nothing has ever given me more satisfaction than my work with My New Hair."
