Goldwell toured the UK to educate hair stylists about its new Pure Pigments range of high definition direct dye additives.
Goldwell guest artist Neil Barton, who has been working with the pigments since October, has created three key looks to support the new range – Colour Boosting, Colour Morphing and Colour Washing.
The Colour Boosting service aims to create spectacular intensity with vivid brilliance and colour saturation.
Neil told guests at the education live event in London: "We used the boosting service to create a vibrant, intense and show-stopping shade of red." (See picture in centre).
The Colour Morphing service can be used to create iridescent, holographic effects that change and move with light. Neil used yellow and violet pigments to give warmer areas and cooler areas to the auburn shade (pictured right).
Finally, the Colour Washing service is ideal for lighter tones who want a soft veil of colour. Neil said: "We used the Colour Washing service to create this spectacular and expensive-looking blonde (pictured left)."
Neil explained Pure Pigments can be used as an addition to a salon's regular colour service and the shades are customisable for every client. He added: "Experiment with the drops and don't be scared about using them as they are extremely versatile and can also be used for colour correction."
