Ghd launches socially-powered beauty experience

Super-styling brand ghd has launched the 'air Boutique' - the world's first socially-powered beauty experience, featuring hair makeovers with the ghd Style Team, model castings and a travelling airstream trailer kitted out with all things ghd.


The Boutique launched to press and fashionistas at Vogue Fashion's Night Out and is now on the road visiting locations across the UK, as directed by the public.


Everything within the pop-up salon space will be directed by ghd fans through social media - from the next location of the venue to the hairstyles on offer.


As part of the launch, ghd is also working with Select Model Management on a model search, with one lucky winner signing with the agency and modelling for ghd later in the year. A shortlist of five budding models will now be voted for by fans on Facebook.


The Airstream will now embark on a socially-powered journey across the country - next stop is Edinburgh on the 15 September and Newcastle on 16 September.
