Get the look: a double-tiered bridal bun by anna sorbie Wedding season is well and truly underway and your salon's columns are probably stacking up with wedding trials. If you're lacking inspiration for your appointments you can't go wrong with a simple and sophisticated bridal bun. Here bridal hair and beauty specialist Anna Sorbie talks us through how to create a stunning two-tiered bun... 1. Prep the hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Volume Lift Spray Mousse and L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART Constructor. 2. Evenly divide the hair with a fine comb into two equal sections on the top and bottom. Tip: Start one inch above the left ear and follow a straight line to 1 inch above the right ear. Secure the bottom section with a clip or band. 3. Set the top section of hair with heated rollers to create more volume and lift. 4. Use a large barrel curling wand and tong the bottom section loosely to create a bend. Then brush through and twist this section into two buns and secure with bobby pins.
Tip: gently loosen the bun for a more undone, effortless look.
5. Brush and smooth out the top section creating height and width depending on the face shape. 6. Twist the end of this section into the top bun and secure with bobby pins. 7. Apply a strong hold hairspray such as L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Anti Frizz Spray 8. Finish the look by gently pinning the bespoke Valentina headpiece into place. full bridal bun image
