Fudge style mercury prize winner james blake

Fudge were on hand backstage at the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize to provide cuts and styling services to nominees - including the 2013 winner, James Blake. As official event partner, Fudge were backstage for two days of rehearsals, as well as on the night, with four styling stations to ensure all of the nominated musicians looked at their best for the big event. Fudge creative director John Vial and Fudge Experts Dale Ted-Watkins, Paul Phillips, Cinta Miller and Laura Fryer prepped shortlisted artists including Rudimental, Foals, James Blake, Disclosure, Villagers, Artic Monkeys, Laura Mvula and Savages. To get James's winning, Dale says: "This cool, preppy, mop-top inspired look with the Perry-boy flick is easy to achieve. Firstly blow dry the hair naturally then to create the all important texture use Fudge Membrane Gas."
