HJ was delighted to attend the inaugral House of Wella event earlier this month. The two-day brand experience was held from 1-2 September in London's Covent Garden, and was designed to spotlight the future of hair and beauty as well as highlighting the Wella portfolio.
The event welcomed over 250 retailers, press, content creators and professionals from around the world and treated them to an immersive celebration of innovation, education, and artistry.

What Is the House of Wella?
The immersive brand showcase offered guests a inspiring journey through Wella's heritage and future vision, and was hosted across multiple venues.
By day, Covent Garden’s, The Stables, housed the main activity. Then by night, guests headed to Landing 42, in the The City, where guests had the chance to experience the world of Wella while looking out into the London skyline from the 42nd floor!
The House of Wella presented hands-on product experiences from Wella Professionals, OPI, Sebastian, Clairol, ghd, and Briogeo, each delivering tailored consultations, styling experiences, and interactive demos.
The event’s educational programming featured standout sessions from industry icons and leaders:
Day 1 Sessions
- Michelle Thompson for Briogeo led a powerful session on curls, coils, and waves.
- OPI ambassador, Jessica White, shared content strategies for social brand growth.
- The Clairol Ambassador, Stacey Dooley, delivered an inspiring talk on identity and authenticity.
- Beauty Editor Hannah Coates and content creator Natalie O’Neill delivered a session for OPI, discussing the merits of nailcare being elevated to skincare status.
Day 2 Sessions
- Managing Director of F1 Academy, Susie Wolff MBE, was joined by Wella Professionals Global SVP Marlene Lotter, who delivered a powerful seminar entitled ‘Driven by Identity: Fuelling female confidence and breaking beauty boundaries’.
-Sebastian Artist Simon Tuckwell revealed how to create viral looks; ‘from catwalk to Tik Tok’.
-Colour & Trends Ambassador Jordanna Cobella, Hersheson’s CEO Luke Hersheson & Wella Artist Calum Tierney, explored the future of colour and trends.
A spectacular Sebastian hair show curated by Wella artists Jordanna Cobella, Guy Kleinhaus, James Earnshaw and Sophie Sugerman, brought artistry and innovation to life, as well as giving a sneak peek at the new look Sebastian Professional.
