Thanks to the likes of Louis Vuitton, Giles and Emanuel Ungaro, fetish-inspired styles are the surprise hit of the season with leather, lace and latex in abundance.
And, as usual, the hairdressing industry is on-trend with countless hairdressers opting to style their models in dominatrix-esque skintight leather and swathes of lace.
At the Alternative Hair Show, Saco (above) dressed models in high-shine rubber with barely-there bandages and bondage straps. Short, sharp, sleek haircuts and flashes of colour enhanced the strict, sharp feel.

Anne Veck opted for the leather-look too, with her models at the Alternative Hair Show shedding their white tutus to reveal a racier style. Glossy black bobs added biker babe edge.

The Sassoon show at the Alternative Hair Show took a softer approach to seduction with sheer black shapes dressed up with lace eye masks and leather gloves. Trademark polished bobs in opulent shades created a rich contrast.

Spanish salon group Mikel Luzea also embraced the leather look, with models in figure-hugging catsuits which contrasted starkly against the flamboyant, textured shapes of their voluminous updos.

On the Fellowship stage, the Marc Antoni team created strong shapes in statement shades for dynamic looks which perfectly complemented the rubber gear sported by a series of models.

Proving that fetish wear isn't just about black leather, the FAME Team showed models in teetering heels finished with snakeskin and corset-inspired lace-up detailing.

The Sassoon Academy show at Salon Live saw a celebration of all things bondage with the Bound section of Tribe III. Models in leather animal masks cavorted alongside those draped in lace and sheer draped gowns for an intensely sensual collection. Colour placement was inspired by straps, with thick bands of contrasting shades worked across the head.
