Dakota fanning goes brunette

She and her sister are known for their whimsical, long blonde locks but at the Twilight premiere Dakota Fanning revealed a new brunette shade.
The chocolatey shade features slightly lighter panels around the face and with her peaches-and-cream complexion and bright blue eyes, this shade almost looks natural.
Styled in a side parting with roughly straightened lengths, this effortless look is fairly typical Fanning sister - albeit with that striking new hue.
Whether or not it's for an upcoming film role remains to be seen, but either way it's great to see Dakota stepping out of her comfort zone.
