Fast becoming a firm favourite amongst fashion-forward celebrities, last night's CFDA Awards saw more stars opt to wear their hair in an on-trend bun.
Both Kirsten Dunst and Lucy Liu trialled the trend, with their wildly different styles proving the versatility of this updo.
Fashionista Kirsten opted for a high top knot, with slicked back hair on her crown contrasting against the slightly textured feel of her bun. Gold hoop earrings and a gamine tuxedo complete the look.
Lucy's look is much softer, with a plaited ponytail wrapped around to create a low-slung, slightly off-centre bun.
This romantic look is the perfect match to the actress's elegant feathered Monique Lhuillier ballgown.

Both Jessica Alba and Miranda Kerr opted for slicked-back styles, with a high-shine finish adding to the sleek feel.
Pregnant Jessica kept things simple with a twisted style, ideal for showing off her colourful dress and sparkling earrings.
Miranda had slightly more texture to her style, with a slightly off-centre parting softening the finish.
