Cannes 2011: red carpet hair and beauty

For the first day of Cannes, three leading ladies opted for polished, glossy curls although each styled the look rather differently.
Supermodel Karolina Kurkova styled her mid-length blonde bob into short, springy cuyls, pinned back behind one ear for a slightly retro feel.
Mexican actress Salma Hayek opted for a real va-va-voom vintage style - long, loose barrel curls with oodles of shine swept over to one side.
Finally, actress Rachel McAdams paired her stunning red lace Marchesa gown with elegant blonde waves and a softly styled fringe teased over one eye.
