Brunette is the new blonde

As we are now officially in summertime, thoughts start to move onto summer fashions, fabrics and colour. And that includes the hair. While blonde has traditionally been the hue for hot summer days, it seems celebrities are turning their backs on the tone and opting for something darker. While Denise Van Outen gently introduces the darker colour with a two-tone style, other celebrities have fully embraced the hue and turned their back on their blonde days. Nicole Richie and blonde bombshell Katherine Heigl have both moved to the dark side, which has given them a more natural, mother-earth and sexy look.
