Billy fry joins the ghd art team after winning spotlight competition

Billy Fry from Strands Hairdressing in Fareham has won a place on the ghd art team, following their first talent-spotting initiative; Spotlight. The online competition received 1,200 entries with finalists eventually competing for a place on the team. Following a month-long vote on Facebook, Billy took the prize and will now join the art team - with his first assignment a slot presenting on stage at Salon International. Billy was a member of the ghd Style Squad last year and has already worked with the team backstage at London Fashion Week. He says: "I’m totally overwhelmed by the amount of people that have voted for me and I would like to thank everyone for their support.  I can’t wait to get started now!"
