Pont Smith and Chloe Herve, owners of
Bebop, delivered their recently-launched education concept for the second time in Guernsey.
The concept called ‘
bebop education’ comes after the successful opening of their
salon.
The salon opened in December 2017 and prides itself on being cruelty-free, organic and vegan. The founders shared their belief that the growing trend in hair and beauty preferences should be embraced. Pont and Chloe want to educate their clients on the strong performance that the product lines they use deliver, whilst being vegan and organic.
The education platform takes bookings from independent salons across the country and recently the duo visited Tribe Hair and Hairtek salons. They delivered a structured curriculum to both teams, showcasing their innovative teaching methods.
What Can You Expect from Bebop's Education Platform?
Bebop’s education platform teaches a complete landscape of hairdressing from precision cutting, wearable hair and men’s hairstyles to investigating subcultures with references to art and fashion.
Chloe says that the main idea behind the platform is to help simplify the work of professional hairdressers. She explains: “We not only show you the technique behind the haircut and iron out any bad habits but also give you the thinking behind it in its most simplified form so that you can understand and apply it to your work.”
