The two stars of Les Misérables opted for contrasting styles at the New York premiere, with Anne Hathaway going sleek and short and Amanda Seyfried opting for a high braided bun.
Amanda complemented her golden Alexander McQueen gown with an equally regal style, with hair slicked back away from the face into a high plaited bun.
Although Amanda has a lot of hair of her own, I have a sneaky suspicion a hairpiece may have been used here as the plait is perfectly symmetrical all the way round in terms of width, tone and texture.
Smoky cat eyes add the perfect finishing touch to this sleek, sophisticated look.
Anne continues to style out her crop nicely, opting on this occasion for a high-shine finish and side-parted style.
The glossy finish really shows off the richness of Anne's dark shade, while the swept-over style ensures her hair takes centre stage.
This style is slicker than we're used to seeing on Anne, making it an ideal match for her sexy thigh-high split Tom Ford gown.
