Clipso salons style ruth wilson's red carpet hair

Award-winning British actress, Ruth Wilson, has been styled for two recent high-profile red carpet events by Darren Fowler at Clipso Salons.As her go-to stylist for premieres and parties, Darren is a dab hand at creating looks which perfectly complement her McQueen and Dior outfits and was most recently called on to style her hair for the British Independent Film Awards and London Evening Standard Theatre Awards.
Darren says: Ruth's hair looked effortless at both events and was great for the red carpet. The beautiful hair-up styles work with her bold look and complements her outfits perfectly.
Here, Darren explains how he got Ruth's look for the British Independent Film Awards:
"To begin with, I applied Shu Uemura's Tasai Cream and L'Oréal Professionnel's Tecni Art Hot Style Constructor before blow-drying the hair. Next I prepped the hair by tonging and crimping at the root for maximum volume and texture.
"Taking the hair in sections, I then twisted and pinned it into place, finishing with a light hold hairspray. I love this twisted back up-do on Ruth, she looks absolutely stunning!"
