The American Music Awards 2014 saw the great and the good of the stage and screen descend on Hollywood; here we take a look back at the best-tressed guests.
There were some distinct hair trends on the night, including a surprising return to the straight and sleek look. For so long we've been used to seeing big, bouncy blow-outs on the red carpet that this return to 90s minimalism marks a welcome change. Spearheaded by Kendall Jenner, we saw a sprinkling of stars rocking straight, no-fuss lengths either strictly centre parted or swept straight back in a wet-look finish.
This being Hollywood, classic side-swept waves were also a popular choice. In a move on from retro style, the finish was grungy texture or a loose, less-defined wave as rocked by Lucy Hale and Fergie.
We loved the breakout selection of wild texture too - Zendaya and Jordin Sparks were only outdone by Diana Ross in terms of volume.
Take a look through our favourite looks from the AMA red carpet below!
