A group of 21 families affected by blood cancer were taken on a trip to lifetime to Disneyland Paris, funded by the Alternative Hair Show in support of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
The annual trip gives families a much-needed weekend away together, offering them the chance to meet other families and share their experiences while enjoying a fun-filled weekend.
Tony Rizzo, founder of the Alternative Hair Show, said: "I started this trip because I lost my own son to leukaemia and I know that the whole family suffer when a child is diagnosed with this terrible disease. The weekend allows the families to go away together and share happy memories. It is a therapy for them and it gives them strength."
The trip is gratefully supported by Denman, Joico, Tigi, KeraStraight, Wella Professionals, Hair Tools, Cadbury's, Eat Natural, Organix, Mothercare, Glaxo Smithkline and Oh So Cherished.
The Alternative Hair Show returns to the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 14 October for its 30th anniversary show Legends - book tickets now at www.alternativehair.org
