A new film looking at the story of the Alternative Hair Show is in the making - but now it needs your help to get finished with a crowd-funding campaign.
Documentary maker and friend of the charity Carlo Corradi started the documentary a few years back, telling the remarkable tale of Tony Rizzo and his personal mission to raise funds for childhood leukaemia.
Sadly, before the project could be completed, Carlo passed away.
Now, young filmmaker Antonio Celotto has taken it upon himself to finish the film and share it - and the story of Alternative Hair - with the world.
The story covers how 'ordinary' hairdresser Tony Rizzo launched an event to raise money for leukaemia research after the tragic death of his young son from the disease. What started as a small local charity fashion show is now an annual event at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring the biggest names in hairdressing. Satellite events also take place in Chicago, Seoul, Vienna, Rome and Moscow.
In order to complete the film, Antonio has started a crowd-funding campaign - and supporters will get an inside track on the Alternative Hair Show, as well as helping the documentary reach the world. You could even bag yourself a place at the event - and there's rewards at every level, no matter how much you contribute.
