This season sees TONI&GUY celebrate their tenth anniversary as official sponsors of London Fashion Week. To celebrate, we grilled global creative director Sacha Mascolo Tarbuck for ten of her favourite, most fashion-forward TONI & GUY hairstyles from their illustrious catwalk portfolio. We also asked her how to go about recreating them, for a true celebration of the TONI & GUY team's triumphant tenth.
Sacha, let's reminisce!
GILES Spring/Summer 2014
1. Load the hair with a liberal amount of label.m Resurrection Style Dust, adding the product section by section.
2. Using a grooming brush, gently brush back the hair. Smooth the fringe area back by applying label.m Miracle Fibre with the flat of the hand, creating a dual texture finish.
3. Take the hair to one side, below the ear, and section into two. Divide the sections again and plait the four pieces using a rope-plaiting technique - two pairs of hands required!
4. Towards the end of the plait, increase the tension to add tightness. Use your hands to encourage looseness in the hair and create even more texture. Add a spritz of label.m Extreme Hold Hairspray to maintain the shape.
