Zen Luxury Extensions has hosted its first Distributor Conference in over a decade, bringing together its global distributor network for a landmark two-day event in London on 17-18 January 2026.
Held at the Hilton Canary Wharf, the inaugural conference marketed a significant strategic moment for the brand, reinforcing Zen’s commitment to innovation, education and long-term distributor partnership in an increasingly competitive global extensions market.
The event opened with a welcome address from Johnny Yip, Managing Director of Zen Luxury Extensions, who acknowledged the evolving challenges facing the professional hair extensions industry, particularly global manufacturers selling direct to salons and outlined how Zen is proactively responding. Central to this was the presentation of an initial guaranteed 8-10 year supply plan, offering distributors confidence, security and long-term continuity.
The conference programme showcased a series of new and upcoming product developments, including Butterfly Wefts, PU Wefts, 24-inch hair extensions, wigs, and toppers, alongside exclusive custom hair order options available only to Zen distributors. Live demonstrations were delivered by Simon Stainton, Head of Education, alongside leading international educators Bozena Serek and Stephen Eales, offering practical insight into application techniques, product performance and advanced problem-solving.

A dedication session on re:BOND professional haircare by Stephen, highlighted the brand’s FibreNew Technology, with a focus on correcting brassiness and orange tones caused by mineral build-up and de-colourants, positioning re:BOND as a key technical solution for colour correction and hair restoration.
Distributors were also introduced to Zen’s new Order Circle platform, designed to streamline ordering through real-time stock visibility and improved efficiency, alongside a suite of business development initiatives presented by Business Development Manager, Samantha Foo. These included enhanced email marketing support, shared content libraries for distributors, and exploration of future global pop-up opportunities.
Commenting on the event, Johnny Yip said: “This conference was about transparency, collaboration and future-proofing our distributors’ businesses. We wanted to be open about the challenges facing our industry and demonstrate clearly how Zen is investing in long-term supply, innovation and meaningful support. The feedback we’ve received since confirms we’re moving in the right direction.”
Delegate feedback praised the clarity of communication, strength of education and the collaborative atmosphere of the event, with many highlighting the value of connecting with fellow distributors from around the world and contributing directly to the future direction of the brand.
The successful launch of the Distributor Conference marks a confident start to 2026 for Zen Luxury Extensions, with further international education initiatives and product launches planned throughout the year.
