Youngsters are your future clients

Today is Celebrity Day at my children's school and I spent the morning tonging and straightening my daughter's hair so she looked like Avril Lavigne and spiking my son's hair as he went as Mr Incredible. Jasmine made a very convincing Avril (picture copyright Wireimage) Sorting out the outfit was easy, but it was the hair and make-up was the most important, I was told. And it wasn't just Jasmine that thought this as her friends all discussed what they were going to do, looking at websites for ideas and having several dress rehearsals. Jasmine and her friends may be only nine years old, but they know exactly what they want when it comes to their style. They are also the clients of the future for salons around the country and offering them style advice, sample products to take away and try out and making hair exciting, they will be hooked for life.
