The Young Total Beauty Awards, organised by La Biosthetique and the Societé Française de Biosthetique (SFB), were hosted recently to celebrate the best of their up-and-coming stylists.
Six talented young hopefuls took to the stage on the night, showcasing looks ranging from vintage rolls to intricate basket-weave plaits. The panel of judges - which included FAME Team educator Michelle Griffin and industry expert, Jacki Wadeson of JWPR - awarded points based on style, technique and suitability, as well as brand and trend interpretation.
Michelle said: "Each of our finalist’s demonstrated incredible skill, however we had to choose just one winner and runner up. Charlotte Johnson showed enormous talent with her curved ‘fins’ of hair and fishtail plait and we loved Charlotte Hackford's beautiful textured crown of plaits. It was a wonderful standard of work."
And the winners of the Young Total Beauty Awards were...
Charlotte Johnson, MC2 Warrington, winner
Charlotte Hackford, The Avenue Sheffield, runner up
