Working towards a solution to colour additives insurance issue

Confusion over insurance cover and the new raft of colour additives took a step closer to being resolved with colour additive brand Innoluxe working with a major insurance brand to help bring clarity to the situation. Innoluxe has offered a tailor-made insurance clause which can remove the confusion and satisfy insurers. The clause was developed in association with Gary Crowder from Just Hair Insurance. Said Gary: “Just Hair Insurance is pleased to confirm that our Scheme Insurers have approved the use of Innoluxe either as a stand-alone treatment or when mixed with colour. Insurance cover/ protection is subject to following manufacturers’ instructions: ‘If mixing with colour, follow the colour house’s instructions first before adding Innoluxe ReBond per the instructions provided’.” Concluded Gary: “Innoluxe’s willingness to engage in insurance matters and through the provision of comprehensive industry instructions helped shape our understanding and approval of their product.
