Wella Professionals announced the UK and Ireland winners for Trend Vision 2012 in an inspirational evening at the Roundhouse in London.
The legendary North London venue played host to more than 800 hairdressers from across the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland in a night which saw rising stars of the industry recognised for their skills.
Hosted by Reggie Yates, the evening kicked off with a storming set by The Noisettes before a host of hairdressing legends took to the stage for a series of inspirational creative shows.

The evening started with Making History, opened by Mark Hayes and the Sassoon Academy with a beautiful tribute to the late, great Vidal Sassoon with classic looks interpreted for 2012.
Next was a stunning showcase of award-winning icons featuring models by Desmond Murray (Atherton Cox), Brendan Fowles (Daniel Galvin), Darren Ambrose (D&J Ambrose), Michelle Thompson (Francesco Group), Joel Goncalves (John Frieda), Bruno Marc Giametti (Marc Antoni)m Simon Byrer (Michael Van Clarke), Robert Chambers (Robert Chambers Hairdressing), Robert Eaton (Russell Eaton), Mark Hayes (Sassoon Academy) and Indira Schauwecker (TONI&GUY).
The Generation NOW team also enjoyed a chance to shine, presenting their first show in front of an appreciative audience, mentored by Gary Gill.

Following dinner, the second half of the show kicked off in style with a presentation from the multi-award winning HOB Salons, with a beautiful collection created with ILLUMINA Color. The creative team, lead by HJ's current British Hairdresser of the Year, Akin Konizi, and colour director, Faye Turner, provided an inspirational colour experience and were later joined by 2011 International Trend Vision Award Young Talent Gold winner, Jake Unger.

The creative shows closed with the Designed by Music presentation which rocked the Roundhouse with a celebration of music, hair and fashion icons by Sebastian Professional. David Bowie, Prince and Lady Gaga all provided inspiration for the trio looks, created by Dom Capel, Sean Dawson and Adam Reed.
With the audience suitably wowed by the wealth of talent presented by Wella Professionals, it was time for the all-important matter of announcing the winners who will now go on to represent the UK and Ireland at the international final of Trend Vision 2012 in Madrid.
This year's final saw 28 of the UK and Ireland's most talented young stylists plus 24 of the most creative colourists battle it out for the prestigious prize, having submitted a photographic entry back in March.
