On Sunday 12 October 2025, the People’s Choice Barber Competition (Advanced) took centre stage at Salon International, held at ExceL London. The live event showcased some of the UK’s most talented barbers, all competing for the coveted title. Stay tuned for the announcement of the Emergine Talent category.
Ayeesha Coleman was announced as the winner of the 2025 People’s Choice Barber Competition (Advanced), after showcasing her skills in front of panel of esteemed judges.
The Advanced category is targeted at barbers with over three years of experience at the time of the competition and is a chance for experienced barbers to get involved by showing off their favourite classic cut.
The competition was judged by a panel of industry experts: Kevin Luchmun, Naomi Richardson, and Connor Murphy-Chesterton who assessed each contestant’s technical precision, creativity, and overall execution.
