British men decide on their signature hairstyle at age 32 years and six months, according to new research by professional hair brand, Fudge.
One average, a British man will try five styles before settling on his signature look, which he will then keep - women, meanwhile, try seven looks before finding the one they stick with.
Proving the theory are rockers Mick Jagger, Davis Bowie and Rod Stewart, and actors George Clooney and Michael Douglas, who all sport the same style today as when they were 32.
The research was conducted to support Fudge's role as official hair partner for London Collections: Men.
Other findings included:
60% of British men would rather go grey than bald
One in five guys has considered dying their hair grey to be fashionable
20% want to grow their hair longer to emulate David Beckham and Bradley Cooper
