Wella Professionals Business Network Live 2012 saw hairdressers learn how to turn their dreams into reality, with two days of inspirational presentations, workshops and insights covering business and trends.

Inspired by the belief that if you strive for gold you can achieve your dreams and turn them into reality, the two-day conference also provided a fantastic networking opportunity for business owners and managers.

Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire, the two-day event was hosted by celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas and featured illustrious guest speakers including Jo Malone MBE, Sir Terry Leahy and Josh Wood.

Day one kicked off with a welcome address by Sheila Jackson, education and event manager, P&G Salon Professional, UK and Ireland. Greeting guests, she revealed that the inspirational theme for the next two days would be 'Dreams to Reality'.

Next was Ian Wallace, a dream psychologist and best-selling author, who gave a revealing presentation into the inner meanings of our dreams. His observation that 'a dream is just a dream until you put it into action' set the context for the fact that the most powerful and accessible way to realise what we want in life and how to achieve it has to start with doing something about it.

Their words of wisdom, enthusiasm and creative passion were an inspiration and left the audience thoroughly inspired to dare to dream.

Daniel Minney, general manager of P&G Salon Professional - UK & Ireland said: "This year's Business Network Live, organised by P&G Salon Professional, was a wonderful opportunity for some of the UK & Ireland's top stylists and salon owners to be inspired by top quality speakers. There was something for everyone who took valuable time out of their schedule to learn from others, and to reflect on how to keep winning in our demanding but rewarding industry."
