Wella professionals announces finalists for uk & ireland trendvision award 2022

The Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2022 finalists have been announced, as has its brand new venue. Keep scrolling to find out the UK and Ireland finalists... Situated on London’s iconic Greenwich Peninsula, premier venue, MAGAZINE LONDON will accommodate the 800 strong audience, where the winners and runners up of the six categories will be announced on Monday 3 October. TrendVision Award not only boosts team morale and motivates competitors, but it also offers amazing PR opportunities for salons and freelancers alike. This year the TrendVision Award finalists were selected from the initial photographic entry stage and announced at two exciting virtual events. Not only did the virtual events announce the talented finalists, but there was plenty of inspirational model presentations from leading Wella artists James Earnshaw and Nikki Clifford, using its incredible professional colour portfolio.

The six categories this year are:

Colour Artist Stunning colour that is multi-dimensional, glossy, healthy looking. Hair colour that looks premium and has a high-end finish. Colour Specialist Beautiful and healthy-looking hair and colour that portrays a mastery in blonding and toning. Choose from the portfolio of blonde shades from pastel candy to steely grey, electric white or sunshine glow. Craft Artist High-quality service and expertise, high-definition colour and a master hair cut that is crafted with professionalism and showcases a stunning transformational result. Editorial Look A black and white editorial image that reflects the Sebastian Professional brand identity. Think looser, organic looks with the ability to transform into an edgy yet youthful appearance. The student hairdressing categories: XPOSURE Creative Cut and XPOSURE Creative Colour XPOSURE Colour the Cut Showcases colour, cutting and styling skills to demonstrate a strong total hair look. XPOSURE Creative Colour Showcases the creative use of colour and its placement to create a visible hair colour maintaining hair quality and condition.

What’s next for the finalists?

Having made it through the photographic stage of the competition, the lucky finalists will next compete in the UK & Ireland TrendVision Award Final at MAGAZINE LONDON. The 2022 Final promises to be an incredible night, with some of the biggest names in UK & Irish hairdressing attending. Guests can expect a drinks reception, dinner, exclusive hair shows and the all-important winners announcements. It will be an opportunity to be fully immersed and inspired by the Wella brand, with unmissable shows from Wella’s leading world-class artists. In true Wella style, the celebrations will continue on the dance floor into the early hours with a party to remember.
