Victoria beckham sports scary alien do

I love clean, scaped back updos but Victoria Beckham has taken the look one step further by wearing a classic 'Croydon facelift' for her judging stint on American Idol.
Instead of showing off her delicate features, the severe do seems to stretch her face so much that her eyes have practically moved to the sides of her head.
A bit like one of the aliens in Avatar... which I'm sure wasn't quite the look she was going for.
I remember that the trend was quite popular in the early 90s with techno acts and it has been appearing in fashion and hair shoots more recently.
It just goes to show that just because something's trendy, doesn't mean that it will look good on anyone.
