Uppercut hair salon style paralympic champion

Essex-based Uppercut Hair Salon recently styled gold-winning medallist, Lee Pearson CBE for an appearance on Channel 4's Come Dine with Me.Lee took time out of his busy training schedule for the 2012 Paralympics to visit the award- winning salon, joined by the cookery show's camera crew.
The multi-medal winning para-equestrian took part in a Come Dine With Me special which will be shown in the lead up to the games.
"I wanted to look my best for the filming of the show and also for when I will be competing," Lee said. "I also knew the girls at Uppercut would enjoy having a camera crew around!"
Manager Lauren Paton said: "It's always a pleasure to see Lee when he comes into the salon as he is such an inspiration and although we were shocked when he turned up with the film crew, it was great fun to be able to take part in a show that we all love to watch. We will be cheering Lee on when he is competing and wish him all the best, and look forward to his next visit to Uppercut when hopefully he will bring another gold medal in with him."
