Twilight tales wow the matrix conference

Matrix has launched its Twilight Tales collection to 180 delegates at their first uk-based annual conference in Manchester. The stunning looks, which were inspired by cocktails at dusk, were a collaboration of six of Matrix Artistic Directors - Errol Douglas, Hooker & Young, Paul Falltricks, Andrew Jose, Marcus Shamim and Terry Longden.Matrix Artistic Manager Andrea Miller explains: "The Twilight Tales is a gorgeous colour collection to support the launch of the new Neutral Warms shades from the Matrix SOCOLOURbeauty range. "The inspiration for the collection is a cocktail theme with five looks on five girls who are enjoying a drink while the sun sets." In keeping with the theme of the collection and the Matrix brand, the weekend consisted of fun, inspiration and education, with a little bit of elegance thrown in for good measure. Delegates were involved in interactive presentations detailing 2008’s inspirational launches, shoots and business building ideas and there was a surprise guest speaker: Dr Lewis Losoncy, who has been with Matrix since the early 1980’s alongside founder, Arnie Miller. 'Dr Lew' delivered a highly memorable speech about the journey a hairdresser embarks upon with their clients, the life-changing occasions they are on hand for and the bond between clients and their hair stylist, leaving the delegates inspired and excited about getting back to their salons.
