Turban-esque updos at tata naka

tata-naka1.jpgThe Tata Naka presentation at Somerset House coincided with the fashion labels' 10 year anniversary, and the Ango-Indian mix of fabrics, embellishments and patterns was evident. Paul Merrit led the ghd team backstage, with a theme of English eccentric meets Maharaja.



"The brief that I was given lent itself to The Victorian Era when the Brits were in India, so I looked into the styles of the time and developed the look, integrating the shape of a turban and moving on from the top-knot that was so popular last season."
