Truckstop barber pops up on m4

A truckstop barber has opened on the M4, bringing hairdressing services to time-pressed truckers on one of the UK's busiest motorways. Enterprising hairdresser Will Barton opened his new salon at The Chippenham Pit Stop, just off Junction 17, after recognising that drivers who are away from home all week are often reluctant to spend their precious weekends in the salon. Says Will, "It's surprising just how many drivers really appreciate being able to nip in for a haircut during one of their breaks." Chippenham Pit Stop managing director David Hatherell said that making space for an onsite barber was all part of their ongoing campaign to provide the best possible facilities and service for the transport industry. Other facilities include an outdoor gym and evening fitness classes designed to keep truckers happy and healthy after a day behind the wheel.
