Towie beats made in chelsea in hair poll

The stars of The Only Way is Essex have been voted as having more stylish hair than their counterparts in Made in Chelsea, according to a survey released today. The survey compared the hair of stars of both shows, with 520 women polled to see whose style they preferred - and Essex trumped West London by a long way. In a battle of the bobs, TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh beat MIC's Millie Mackintosh, with 58% of respondents saying they preferred the Essex girl's shoulder-skimming style. Essex's bottle blondes were voted as top too, with a huge 71% of women saying that they preferred Gemma Collins' locks to Cheska Hull's similar style. And was a similar story for the shows' brunette stars, with 66% of women voting for Jess Wright's long locks over Binky Felstead's barnet. It was down to Chelsea's own blonde bombshell Jamie Laing to show the girls how it was done - he beat Joey Essex to receive 64% of the respondents' votes and be named top male hair. One respondent commented: "I think that the girls in TOWIE have amazing hair. I’m so jealous because I don’t think I have ever seen any of them having a bad hair day. I know they must get their hair styled all the time, but if I had the money to do so then it’s definitely something I wouldn’t turn down either."
