Toni&guy wow the salon international crowd
If your clients are fans of floral prints then they will love the Project 10 collection from TONI&GUY.
The international artistic team presented models inspired by the Spring/Summer 2011 shows - the texture from Bora Aksu and the softness from Betty Jackson.
"Clients want the maximum of impact with their hair with the minimum of effort," explained compere Bill Watson. While texture was raw but touchable, colour was subtle, feminine but androgynous.
Names for the cuts were fun and fashionable - The Squire, The Bowie and Iloner. While long hair was feminine and soft, short hair was designed for male and female clients alike.
The audience were in for a treat from the outset, with more than 45 models in total showcasing looks from the lateset collection, London Fashion Week and awe-inspiring fantasy work.
HJ's Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year finalists Efi Davies and Indira Schauwecker pulled out all the stops to create a fantasy world of intricate weaving, detailed plaiting and sculptured shapes.
"Being a hairdresser about making our ideas contemporary and consumer-friendly, using the latest products technology to enhance what nature gave us; beautiful hair," Bill stated.
