Tinsley mortimer - richie rich's new leading lady?

New York designer Richie Rich - he of Party Monster fame - is the brains behind cult fashion label Heatherette. Although the label struggled financially in the past, it's now back under a new name (imaginatively, 'Richie Rich'), and remains a hit with club kids and socialites on the NYC scene.

Richie is perhaps best known amongst celeb spotters such as myself for sending unconventional glamour models down the catwalk - Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith have all done the honours in the past. 

At yesterday's New York Fashion Week show, Richie stuck with the bimbo theme, sending socialite/model Tinsley Mortimer down the runway, styled with a big, blonde, beehive. 

Tinsley might have nailed the all-American prom queen look that the label is all about, but she certainly wasn't the best blonde in attendance... Rapper Ice T took pride of place front row, joined by his wife, the legendary glamour model Coco. I don't know what Richie's playing at, sending Tinsley down the catwalk and leaving Coco sitting front row - she's a far more suitable ambassador for Richie!
