Tigi inspirational youth teams up with london college of fashion

The 2012 TIGI Inspirational Youth team has teamed with students from London College of Fashion on a new project called Hair Leads the Fashion.
Ten young fashion designers from the university's BA course are designed two outfits for each of the hairdressers, using their hairstyles as a starting point.
Makeup artists and fashion illustrators from the college are also taking part in the project to help create a total image.
The results of this unique collaboration will be presented at the TIGI Inspirational Youth Show, which will take place in London on 20 May 2012.
TIGI Inspirational Youth is a six-month programme which sees young hairdressing talent learn new skills, present on stage and enjoy mentorship from TIGI Creative Directors Nick Irwin and Akos Bodi as well as PR Linda Evans.
