Rylan Clark has been one of the most talked-about X Factor contestants of all time, with his personal style subjected to almost as much scrutiny as his performances.
From a sleekly-styled blonde look when he auditioned to glossy retro-inspired styles that perfectly complemented his jet-black shade, Rylan was never afraid of shaking things up on stage.
Now as The X Factor says a sad goodbye to its latest evictee, we speak to the show's hairdresser Jamie Stevens about the looks he created for the flamboyant star.
"It has been so much fun working with Rylan Clark on the show and it really won't be the same without him," says Jamie.
"His performances have divided opinion up and down the nation but whatever the opinion, there is no doubt that he is one of the most fun guys to be around backstage and one of the nicest that I've had the opportunity to work with on the show.

"It's been great to work with a guy that is up for experimenting as much as he has, so we've worked lots of different looks on him from shiny and matte, black to blonde and back again.
"The rule with Rylan is that there really are no rules, which is why it's a blast to work with him.
"I loved the flat top look we created on him last week best, as it reflects my signature style. This weekend, it was about keeping the hair sleek and simple as the clothes were so loud!
"To create this on trend wet look style, we blow-dried the hair straight back with mousse and overloaded it with lots of rock hard gel, combing it backwards in the direction it is meant to sit.
!Then we finished with shine spray to reflect the light and really show off the wet look effect.
"We'll miss the Rylan Style!"
